2024 Year in Review: A Journey Through Culinary Storytelling
This video highlights an exciting year filled with creativity, collaboration, and storytelling in the world of culinary arts and events.
Transcript:
We began the year with a stunning project: food styling espresso macarons for A Taste of Boston cookbook, celebrating the artistry of Boston chefs. Spring brought fresh energy with a seasonal menu launch content shoot at the Courtyard Tea Room and Map Room Lounge in the iconic Boston Public Library, followed by the grand opening of a new restaurant at Folio Boston Athenaeum.
As fall approached, we shifted gears for the Map Room Lounge's fall/winter menu launch. Our focus turned to storytelling, offering an intimate, behind-the-scenes perspective of chef Sam Greer’s process. From ingredient selection to partnering with local vendors, Sam shared how his creative vision brings dishes to life, adding depth to every plate.
The storytelling continued with an inspiring interview featuring Dumpling Daughter, a women-owned business, leading up to a special pop-up at the Map Room Lounge. We captured her passion for cuisine and her journey, reinforcing our commitment to local partnerships.
This year also spotlighted The Catered Affair team, sharing their enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication to crafting exceptional experiences. With a mix of seasonal menu launches and special events, the highlights included an exciting collaboration with Dining Playbook, featuring Folio Boston Athenaeum and the Wine Bar at ICA Boston.
2024 was a year of culinary artistry, meaningful collaborations, and dynamic storytelling that celebrated the people, processes, and plates behind our shared love for food and hospitality.
